Paul Niedzwiecki is a public policy professional and attorney with 20 years of experience in environmental policy, public administration, and communications.
He has reformatted regional and municipal operations to better serve the public interest by streamlining regulations and making increasingly complex public information easier to understand and use with technology and data-visualization.
Paul currently serves as the first Executive Director of the Southfield Redevelopment Authority. The SRA manages the redevelopment of the former South Weymouth Naval Air Station, a 1400 acre property located within the municipal boundaries of three municipalities: Weymouth, Abington and Rockland. The master plan accommodates over 3,800 residential units, 8 million square feet of commercial space and 1,000 acres of open space.
Before joining the SRA Paul served for 10 years as the Executive Director of the Cape Cod Commission, where he led 40 talented and innovative professional planners and technical experts in proactively fulfilling its mission- “Keeping a Special Place Special” – by protecting the natural environment, enabling economic growth, increasing transparency and encouraging community engagement.
